Hey can anyone help me with desiding what to choose? Sri or cai? Basicly I just want the best sound? I'm think injen but I need to start with what kind of intake please help!

 

I literally just installed an Injen SRI on my tC 2 days ago. SRI is the way to go if you want it louder but CAI is better in the fall/winter because it takes in more cold air obv. SRI definitely makes a noticeable difference in engine sound and performance so I would go with that for a while.

I have a Weapon r sri with true ram air on my xb2. so I would say go with an sri and if you can run a tube from your filter to your grill like I have, that way in the fall and winter you get the cold air that you would with a cai and you get the extra sound of an sri.

 

You will be fine with an SRI.

 

You're not going to experience any gains with an intake except perhaps at the very top end, so if sound is what you're after, go for a short ram intake. Note that oiled cotton gauze filters don't filter as well as paper so if that's something that matters to you then opt for a dry filter.

 

Running a SRI will most likely increase your IAT.

 

I definitely noticed a noise difference with my SRI from Injen. Great product, definitely recommended.
