Default Should I tune my car?

CAI, Cat-exhaust, header(weapon-r), and pulley. Should I buy the AEM FIC to dyno tune the car or is a tune not necessary? If yes to the tune, will bigger fuel injectors help? Any info will help!

Please provide a link if topic has already been discussed. I researched before creating this thread.

I just want to know if it's really worth it. 10WHP for $1K is definitely not worth it, but anything over 20WHP I'll think 'bout.

This was just discussed yesterday regarding the 1G.

Assuming the 2AR behaves the same since it's so similar to the 2AZ, results would probably be the same.

I would be surprised to see a 10whp gain.. You can only crank so much out of a motor by freeing up lost power and tuning it with performance in mind still only Will do so much

I've also never turbocharged a car before, so I have 0 experience on what to do and how to treat/maintain the car.

Haha its okay, thats why you're on this forum. The basics to a turbocharged car is that you'll need to start using premium fuel instead of regular and oil changes vary depending on how heavily you drive the car, rougher driving = oil changes at 1.5k - 2k and regular Daily driving will be about 3k-3.5k as far as I know

I'm fine with the extra expenses. It's that I wouldn't know if something went wrong with it... I would have to be paying the person who installed the turbo kit again and again...
