What is the best exhaust setup for the tc2? Like headers to mid pipe to exhaust? Like everything?

I like the way it sounds personally, it may be for some more than others I suppose depends just what your really looking to get out of it as far as tone. I will take another video later this evening and post it so hopefully you can get a more clear tone out of it, at least closer to in person rather than from in a garage or under the tip haha

When you are refering to car exahust the word Nasty can mean many many things, can you be more specific about your opinion. Sounded good or bad nasty. Thanks.

I had OEM headers in my tC1 and gutted the Second Cat myself. Had some shop weld it back on. Louder exhaust (not bad nasty), and I imagine more free flow.
I did notice a stronger exhaust smell when I pulled into the garage at home tho.

I have to "car sit" a family members car next week so I may use that as an opportunity to transport my exhaust pipe so I can gut it again. Even with my CAI and TRD Exhaust the car is not that loud, its quite pleasant.

Mine never threw a cel at all, it should be fairly simple especially if you can/have access to weld. I just took mine to my muffler shop i been going to for years and he did it. All in all it should cost you more like worst case scenario imo and dont quote me....maybe like 80bucks MAX to have it done.

Agreed per the "nasty" part haha even until the last post I wasnt sure how exactly he meant nasty hahah good catch! Also I did the straight pipe like I said and I actually removed ther snorkel, sounds beast full throttle into higher rpms you can def hear that baby "swooshing". As far as performance not rly sure I think I lost some mpg after snorkel removal. Not sure tho if so cudnt have been much if any.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong about the tC2. I only been under it once.
It goes O2 Sensor, Cat, then down pipe, O2 Sensor then Cat. So if you gut or strait pipe the second cat your Second O2 sensor will never know.

I asume you plan on straight pipping the resonator too? I did not. Only the Second Cat.
If you do any cutting by yourself keep it neat so when it gets re-welded no one gets suspicious if they are inspecting your car.

You found a shop that will do this? Lol my Local muffler shop gave me the whole "I can loose my license speech". He was even kind of a redneck that knew I was willing to spend money. All well, he played by the books, good for him.

I had to take my own exhaust off, cut off the cat, gut it. Then took the cat and exhaust pipe to yet another shop to weld it and tell them it was for a Off-Road Vehicle.

Not exactly sure #noobstyle. I do know that he had removed everything from cat back and yes I am pretty sure there were two res or a sec cat like you said hate to sound dumb about it?? I remember when we lifted it even he was like "wth" haha Agreed with cutting and everything for sure, That does make sense though about the sensor....maybe thats why it didnt throw a cel due to the one cat being left
