Smile Under Hood Overheating?

2012 descendant power turbo tc
6 speed MT
Fresh block

Soooo everytime i pop my hood open after a driving for a while it is SO hot underneath the hood, literally the stand that keeps the hood open is burning hot. I dont understand why as this was never a problem before. Any suggestions anyone? Will i experience any problems or such? Thanks all! All help is good help

One it is summer and point # two is that turbos hit upwards of 2000 degrees. You can wrap the ex. manifold. I remember something about you having a blanket on the turbo already? Upgrade your radiator. I remember reading somewhere that Descendant recommeded the larger radiator they sell for hard use and high temp climates. I think the carbon fiber hood with the huge vent in the middle would be a good investment as well. I'm no turbo pro by any means, but I do know a little.

Yep i have a turbo b. Nice memory haha. Two questions, do they have a stock looking hood with a hood scoop in it? Or something with vents?
