The car is way more responsive, I'm running in the low octane setting but I will change it to the high octane when I "finish" my car. I will post more videos and a dyno sheet so you can see what the Unichip does.
I am highly curious to see your results as I am running a very similar setup -- the injen short ram and green header are the differences, with the same exhaust and I have the NST pulley. If your gains are substantial, I will definitely get this unichip. Post the dyno as soon as you can, mate!

Nice. Ready to see a dyno with bolts on, on this car.

Preferably one with close mods to mine because I definitely feel that the choice in modification will make a difference.

Lightbulb Omg.

Not to get off topic but what camera and mount did you use to take that vid. It was clear as hell and absolutely no vibration from the road.

A GO Pro hero 3 with the flat sticky mount
I'm going to buy like two more because I'm in the Video business. So stay tuned for more videos.

Default Changing maps that are loaded.

Do I have to have flux to change more than just the main map and map 2? BTW Flux is expensive. Nice but just out of my pricerange right now.

YES! It's no turbo, but you'll definitely feel the difference! Midrange and low end power is sweet.

Unichip.com

I bought when they had a special going on and I got a pretty good deal. But if you can't wait, I know TRDsparks.com will do free shipping.

Does it help for MPG? I drive my car 120km a day for work on highway crusing @ 100km/h. Would it help save fuel? I like to push her a bit but on the highway I always use the cruise (except on friday )

as for getting better gas mileage that will vary by driver and driving conditions. ill drive nearly 30K miles a year mostly hwy. when car was stock i was getting 27.4 mpg after doing various mods to my car it dipped slightly then i installed the unichip with aggressive map (93 oct) and now im getting 28.4 mpg. i believe most people will see better gas mileage after the ECU adjusts after a couple fill ups.

The unichip.com website won't get you anything... unichip.us is the correct URL... .com is the website of the manufacturer we get the Unichip computers from, but they don't have anything to do with the tC kit.

Here's a link to our FAQ about gas mileage... http://www.unichip.us/258-faq-gas-mileage. As that link says, it's more about you than it is what the Unichip is doing. For the tC, all changes will be running less fuel, but that doesn't mean you'll necessarily get better mileage.

Cheers

Is Aaron still over there at UC? He was the man. He was also able to real-time tune you with the datalogs collected.

I will say this - when I had my s/c tc, and didnt want to go with the FIC, the unichip was plug and play, and quite noticeable. Aaron was always on hand to help with tuning. Install was straight forward, and he was upfront about everything.
