Weapon R Race header... What are your thoughts? Reviews? Pics?

I'm gonna get one soon for $100 from a friend. Its only been on a vehicle for 100 miles. I searched and couldn't find any reviews or installs on it.

 

i got the same deal from a friend back some time now, i didnt feel much of a power gain but it gives the engine a better sound i feel like. i took it off because the CEL came on and it was annoying for me and i just use my tc as a daily driver.

 

Ok cool, Im not worried about the CEL because i will get the eliminator also.

 

I got one with a HKS exhaust. It's raspy on 1st and 2nd gear around 3-4k rpm. Afterwards it has a nice deep tone to it.

I would recommend to wrap it with titanimum wrap as this header DOES get extremely hot and could burn the shielding foam underneath your hood.

I have the CEL eliminator from Weapon R and it still throws the error.. I need to get it look at again

Also, dyno proven to add 6.5whp across the board on a stock car!

 

No problems so far, and I do have the eliminator on the second 02 sensor. Just beware that the car will be loud! If you're up for inspection soon, get something with a cat.

 

the header upgrades on the 2.5 engine are minimum increase.

you will be spending $600 on something with a 6.5 hp gain
$100 for a used weapon-r header you need to make sure it has cel eliminator.
add that with a tsudo header you may see a 10 hp increase.
