Andre, you could probably make one yourself out of fiberglass.

I'll have to look into that, don't know many places in San Diego that do custom work, and I've never messed with cf

he said fiberglass, not carbon fiber. fiberglass is pretty easy to work with. but i would still recommend getting a aluminum one made.

Use cardboard to make the design how ever you want, cover the cardboard in painters tape, lay the fiber glass over it, mix the resin and hardner, pour it on, lay another sheet of fiberglass and pour the resin, lay another sheet of fiber glass pour the resin. Wait for it to dry approximately 8 hours or until hardened. sand the crap out of it, get some body filler and put a light coat over it, sand it again, prime, sand, paint, sand, paint, sand, paint, sand, clear, wetsand, clear, wetsand, clear, buff and then polish. Done.

Good idea (and what a nice color scheme.) I found a custom metal milling and sheet metal fabrication shop in town and was thinking of going the custom aluminum route. Anyone have a rough estimate how much something like that would cost?

Just talked to Shawn B. It was custom made by his body shop with sheet metal and was painted black. He don't have the car it's on tour of the year. So there is on way to copy it.
