Default [Fix] Door Rattle [Fix]

First you need to go out and get some molding tape, I got this at Pep Boys.

And open the window controls with a flat head screwdriver very carefully but with some force. Then, cut the tape and apply them everywhere like so;

Now you won't have any rattles!

Are you guys noticing the door rattles when the audio is set to "Feel" and the bass is set at high listening to some dub-step?
I think I get some rattle, but the speakers have to be turned up really loud.

I get the rattles in any of the audio settings when my volume is any higher than 15. Very annoying but I'm going to try this fix..

I have yet to experience any rattle. Before I had my system in place, I could bump heavy bass music and not have anything rattle. Now with a sub in the back, if I have anything in the trunk pockets on the sides, they will jump around and it is very annoying.

...with an aftermarket pioneer HU, i only had rattle if the bass was really hitting hard

Same situation here. No rattles at any level with aftermarket Pioneer Nav unit and OEM Audio + upgrade.

So im guessing the OEM + upgrade is the main factor. As the HU really does not matter unless you change the EQ levels. But I want the OEM speakers bad, but I do not want to sub as I want a 12" not a little 8". Do you think they can hook me up with just the speakers?

technically OEM Audio+ system is really the "main factor"

it does fix the issue as well as improve the overall sound quality

but the "real issue" are those 6x9 at the bottom of the door. Apparently Scion has too bass going there that the (flimsy) door cannot handle..thus the rattle. The OEM Audio+ system's amp evenly distributes the bass throughout the car, reducing the excessive bass up front on the doors.

and FWIW, the 8" is MORE than enough. trust me

Really? Eh, It's a small little 8. I wanted a 12, but I need to hear this. If it can get rid of the annoying rattles, give me trunk space, and deliver great sound with a lot of bass. Im in!
