Hey everyone, I have a Rs 7.0. and since day 1 when I go over bumps, especially speed bumps, at low low low speeds even, I hear a thunk sound from the rear. Almost like something is hitting the body.

Took it to the dealership and they said they couldnt replicate the problem. I drive back home, go over a speed bump after coming to a dead stop....and *Thunk*.

Really annoying. Almost embarrassing when I have passengers since its a brand new car. Not even 10k miles on it.

Anyone with this problem before with 2011+ models?

Any input, greatly appreciated.

Did you ride along with them when they couldn't replicate the problem? If not, take it back and insist that you go along. You have a warranty so take advantage of it. The strut could be defective or it could be something else.

 

Yeah Im going back again. They had to order the passenger side molding on the outside cause its lose. So when that part arrives, Ill have them ride along.

i was hoping if anyone else has this problem or its just me.
