Hi guys and gals, this is my first post and i have just started upgrading my 2011 tC.
So here is the situation, i just got an Eonon G2103V head unit and it has universal steering wheel control option, it has three wires:
Steering wheel GND, Steering Wheel key1 and Steering Wheel Key 2,
Once you plug in the correct ones you then use the built in programming function in the unit to assign the keys to whatever function you want.

This brings me to my question, does anyone have a wiring diagram or color coded list for the Steering Wheel control plug on the wiring harness?

Or better yet does anyone know the wires that need to be attached?

Ok can anyone at least tell me if this car uses a CAN BUS type swi or an AD conversion?
Just so i know if i have to buy an adaptor or the axxess

I figured it out, so for anyone else who is looking for the same answer i will list it below, it uses the same pin-out as most toyotas since 1980.
anyway, the wires are as follows:
GRND is pin 6 if looking at the pin side of the 20 pin white connector,
Key 2 is pin 7
Key 3 is pin 8

I have the Xtrons head unit for my wifes tC. Will this wiring work for the steering wheel controls? On the 2013 there is a 28 pin connector on the stock unit, can't remember about the 20 pin will have to pull the unit again.

Also on the metra wiring harness only one of those connectors was a direct connection. The other smaller connector does not fit onto the stock connectors for the other speaker wires, these other four wires are on the 28 pin connector.
