I'm struggling with an issue with my 2G tC. The driver window rattles when it is not at full height. I did a few searched and only found issues with the window switch, which is fine in my case.

When I press the window switch, it pushes up into the window seam and no vibration or rattle due to music. But as soon as I let go, the window drops a mm or so and beings to rattle like a snake due to music.

Do i need a new regulator? or should I just open up the door and make sure everything is tight / adjusted?

I'd probably check to make sure everything is aligned and snug and check the motor itself to make sure it's not missing any teeth (before replacing any parts). You can plug the controller in with the door panel off and observe the operation - might help narrow down the issue. It comes apart pretty easily - look up the installation video for the OEM Audio+ speaker install on youtube if you need a video with the deconstruction steps.

The operation of the motor from your video looks pretty normal though - these cars are just rattley. I spent months hunting and eradicating them all (after deadening the entire car) and new ones still pop up here and there.
