13 tC Speaker Blown
I have a 2013 Scion tC and replaced the stock oblong subs and tweeters for JL Audio C5 650 set that comes with 6.5” subs and a set of tweeters that were meant to replace the blown tweeters I had with my stock sound system. I didn’t use the crossover units that came in the box because I didn’t really need them.
I DID NOT replace my head unit so I knew I was down on power but figured it wouldn’t be an issue since I was trying to keep costs down.
I MADE A MISTAKE. Now my passenger side sub is rattling which I think it may be from a blown voice coil. It’s annoying.
I need recommendations on what to do here. If I need to replace the speakers then I will, but should I get an upgraded head unit? If I do I want a plug and play unit that won’t break the bank. Also will I need or could I use an upgraded amp?
Let me know guys!

Avh 4500 Pioneer I think, I tossed it in my car. Plays beautifully. Cost me 600 or so for everything.
That was year ago, so probably newer unit for same price. Worth it, wireless Car Play too
Plays stronger and louder and cleaner than OEM.
