Ok so i'm getting my 13 black tc this weekend and want to add my old sub to it. It is self powered and just wondering how i can wire it. I did some light research but most of what i find is not my headunit. Mine is the base pioneer headunit by the way. RCA cables obviously run into the back of the unit, and the power and ground go right from the battery and the trunk (ground), but where does the remote wire go (blue usually)?

I know that even when i hook the sub up, i will have to turn it on manually each time i turn the car off from the off position in the unit. Anyway to avoid that?

Sorry if this has been discussed, i am new here and again i did try to do some research with no prevail.

Look for a wiring diagram for your head unit; the remote turn on wire (usually just marked as remote, usually blue) should be listed. Use a tap splice, or better, solar a connection from that wire to your subs remote wire.

Well this is the factory base pioneer head unit. I don't know if it has the wire but i have to assume it does. Is there anyway to bipass the need to always turn on the sub first before playing music?
