i have a kenwood kdc-x994 in my scion right now and my question is when i have the amp plugged in and turn on my head light while radio is on it puts the radio in "protect mode" but if the amp is unplugged or the headlights are already on before the radio turns on its fine and i dont know what i need to do is there another wire that i need to be wiring up all i have wired is a standard toyota wiring harness

alittle information about my car that may be helpful
i have two 12 in earthquake trimerx with a 2000w amp
i have 8000k headlights and 3000k fogs

im not sure if any of this is playing a role or not i tried to get it to do it with my subs and amp unplugged and turned off on the radio and it still did the same thing so im guessing it has nothing to do with that
