Ok I ordered my kenwood dnx9990hd from crutchfield so it will be coming with the wiring harness. I know for the 6x9 to work you need to wire the on trigger wire. My question is how have you guys or girls, wired the 8 speakers? You have 2 in the back, you have the midrange and the tweeters, which feed off of the midrange, and the 6x9. So if the HU only has front left and right and rear left and right, how were the 6x9 wired? Does the wiring harness take care of it?

 

The wire harness takes care of everything. The 6x9's are powered by a small amp under the drivers seat.

Just connect your HU to the wire harness and away you go. Make sure that the blue wire for remote is connected as well since that triggers the small amp to power up. Otherwise the 6x9's won't work.
