Cluster Gauge Needle Recolor
^^^ oh good, I will have to take my gauges apart and swap a couple LEDs then
Edit: the fuel gauge is the one I am thinking about, it shares 1 LED for both the needle and the gauge itself.

would you guys know if i need to paint the needles white? i just ordered the leds last night got all white with 2 red gonna put the red on the last spot of the tach needle and the last spot where the numbers are for the tach
but for that red to show up on the needle can i just paint it very slightly with white or should i go clear that maybe has some sort of sparkle to catch the color (needle will start white then transition to red near final led)
the 2 red circles are where the red leds will go, got the pic from the guide writen by Bloodborn

I didn't notice this earlier.
First, you only get one color for the needle. I would suggest doing 3 white LEDs and just painting the needle the color you want.
As for the little display, there is a filter you need to remove. It will make it blue. If you want a different color, you'll need to get another filter.

Thread is a bit old but if someone can respond, it would be greatly appreciated.
I did the needle stuff and put it back together and the needle doesn't stick well and keeps falling down. Would gluing it back together possibly help?
