I have a 2012 Scion tC RS7 and my hid fog lights stopped working after some water damage in the ballast. I tried using the halogen bulbs and they didn't even work. So I disconnected the fog light relay and plugged it back in and then my sub stopped working. I checked the fuses under the dash and under the hood and they all seem fine. I did forget disconnect the battery when messing with the relay. I realized that was a no no after the fact. Now I'm stuck without my fogs and thumps. I'm dreading taking it to the dealer/shop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

Do you have OEM foglights or aftermarket?
Also, how did you check the fuses? i would replace them even tho they look fine.
Before you go to the stealer review all conncections, replace fuses with new ones and make sure the relay is good.

 

Yes OEM fog lights..I will take a look at everything again and install new fuses..my amp problem could be the remote wire so I will check that as well. Thanks!!

 

something similar happened to me and it turned out to be a fuse problem...so I would replace them just in case.
