Default Headliner removal

I am toying with the idea of doing my headliner in suede. Anyone have instructions on how to remove the headliner? If not, I'll just try pulling but I would rather have some direction.

Thanks!

Just like with any car... take off all the stuff at the top, take off plastic pillars at front, remove plastic covers at the rear and side since they interfere. Then pull forward.

It's quite alot of work just for a simple suede look thats probably not going to look any different than the cloth unless you point out that its suede.

IMO if you are going to do something origional then replace the cloth with something with a unique design that actually makes people look at it. Here are some examples....

There are endless unique styles you can do. Just use your imagination.

Thanks for the info man. I will give it a try then the snow melts

I like those designs you posted but not for a yellow tc. I just want it for me because I despise the feel of the stock headliner. It just feels so cheap.

ideas are kind of limited considering our sunroof/moonroof takes up 80% of the ceiling. Lol

There are dozens of ways to design art around things. You just use your imagination. Don't think that a sunroof is going to interfere with art.

There's nothing wrong with that headliner. It fits the design around the pillars and seats.

It's quite simular to the style on this Xb...
