Install LED's
Alright so I'm pretty new on here, I have a 2011 tC that so far only has tint and aftermarket tail lights. Now I'm trying to add in LEDs into my speakers in both my doors and rear speakers. I can't seem to find any videos on it though and I've never done wiring before. Anyone got ideas?
Hi, if your trying to create a new place for LED's to go, you can use one of our LED pods. We also have remotes for the lights. Feel free to message me back if interested.

you can tap into the illumination wiring so that the leds can turn on with the rest of the ones in the car.. fused and switched so that you can turn them on and off as your please as well.
as long as they are wired for 12V, you'll be fine. basically the led needs to have a resistor attached. there are a few you can purchase that are pre-wired for that you can find.

I actually JUST did this today. Here's the instructions for the doors
1. Pry the silver panels off of the doors.
2. Unscrew the two screws in underneath that panel
3. Pull the plastic panel off of the the mirror areas
4. pry the window control panel off and disengage the wires attached
5. Pry the entire panels off carefully, because if you just yank, you'll break the wires of the tweeters, like I did on one lol
6. Carefully dislodge the wires off of the tweeter.
7. Where the door handle is connected, push the latch just above the "X" looking plastic piece. That will dislodge the plastic cover hiding a screw that you will need to remove in order to completely remove the door frame from the actual door. Congrats! You've got the hard part done.
8.Connect the positive wire of the LEDs to the BLUE wire in the window control (the white box that connects to your window and lock buttons)
9. Connect the negative wire to the ground at the very base of the door, which you can see near a yellow box looking clip.
10. Your LEDs should power on at this point. Strips are the best idea for this, as you can wire them around the plastic of the speaker holes. So just attach them and you're good
11. Reassemble
