Default Interior lighting not working!

I recently bought some led bulbs to replace the dome light, map light, and trunk light, unfortunately only the map light bulbs fit and the rear dome light and trunk bulbs did not. And when I put the factory bulbs back in and tried to test the lights none of them turned on even the leds for the map light. Does anyone know how to fix this or have any ideas of how??

Yup, very easy to fix. Just check your manual and find which fuses correspond to your interior lights. There is a fuse box under the hood as well as one under the driver's side foot well by your pedals. The manual will point you in the right direction. Check them and see if they are blown.

You WANT this to be a blown fuse, because if it's not then your problem is going to be more complicated to diagnose.

I'm definitely not an expert in wiring, so I just wouldn't know where to go from there. I do believe that chances are it's just a fuse(s). I'll see if I can take a look in my manual for you and find which fuses are associated with interior lights...

Oh wow thanks! was trying to see if anyone posted their manual online too I doubt it, but worth trying. Oh and on the topic of lights. I just got my HIDs today and was wondering should I install them myself i.e. taking of the bumper so I can correctly mount my ballasts so they don't move, or should I go to a shop that can do it?

Sure man. Don't pay anyone to install an HID kit for you because it's way too easy. You don't have to remove your bumper to get good ballast placement locations. Check out the HID Help Thread that is stickied in the Aero and Exterior section...you'll find great ballast placement ideas and good conversation about HIDs.

these should help, bud. check fuse #28 (small 10 amp fuse) under the hood. hopefully it's blown...

if it is blown, pull fuse #10 out (a spare 10 amp fuse) and use it for #28.
