Hey Folks just wondering if any other Canadian tC owners who have the leather option installed, do you find that the passenger seat rattles when driving? I have taken the seat out and tried tightening the seat to rail nuts and then tightened the seat bolts back decently tight and am still having rattle issues, any others have this problem?

 

i believe there are actually some owners complaining about the same thing. with cloth seats though. i personally really havent noticed it.

 

hmm interesting, perhaps a recall is in order then

 

i talked to the dealership about it and they told me that if enough people complain Scion will take notice and hopefully do something about it, if not when I eventually get rid of the car it will be the last Toyota product I ever buy

 

I have that rattling in my passenger seat aswell its annyoing

 

Yup same here with the leather seats.
But considering that the sunroof rattles the most when open.... I have come to accept that the car is just full of rattles and not very sound insulating... Which is ok for me. lol

I got rattles in my door, sunroof, passenger seat, and other weird locations... heck even my rear license plate rattle!

 

mine rattles too with cloth, but i just lean it back more so i dont notice it out of the corner of my eye

 

actually my whole car rattles. but i blame on the speakers. haha!

but before the subs, i honestly didnt hear any of the rattle people complain of

rear license plate rattle - cmon now. its bolted on with 2 bolts, you should expect that. put extra padding under it and your good

 

I stick some foam/weather stripping on everything that was rattling. Problem solved.

 

I have the leather, and yes, the passenger seat rattles when I drive. Drives me nuts. I find that if I position the seat further forward, it rattles less.

 

Mine too. I have a 2012 series 7 with leather.
I crank up the radio.
