Default LED HELP

alright, I did look through the forum and couldn't really find exactly the answer i'm looking for. so i'm starting a new thread.

I really would like some serious LED work throughout my tc, but i dont know too much about wiring. So I have a blue LED switch in the empty spot next to the fog light switch which is 20A. I would like to go the Fuse method rather than the cig lighter way.

so here is my question...

Should I do the whole "add-a-fuse" thing? if I go that route, do I need to use a spot that is already in use or can I utilize and empty unused spot?

Now if I can use an empty slot, how much power can I pull from that spot? also I'm going to assume that since the switch i purchased is 20A that it would be a good idea to use a 20A fuse correct?

I really don't want to take power from anything such as headlights or cig lighter. I dont want to mess with that stuff. I want all of my LEDs to be dedicated to that switch..

Ideas, advice and recommendations would be helpful.

I used an add-a-fuse on an empty constant fuse slot and have 2-48cm, 2-38in, and 2-72in strips (roughly 475 leds total) hooked to it. I'm using a rocker switch rated for up to 15 amps and used a 5 amp fuse in the add-a-fuse. I haven't had any problems out of it, and it's been wired this way for well over six months.

I'm not sure how power can pulled from the empty fuse slot, but I know I will probably never reach its max load.
