Map light socket lost

Default Map light socket lost

I was just trying to switch out the map light bulbs in my 2011, first one went in fine then the other one the socket mustve twisted and popped up into the assembly. How can I get the socket back?

good question. mine has been up there for over five months. only way i see is to pull headliner but im too chicken. in for more info.

I did the same thing, Get your fingers under that center console and pull, there are 3 large clips holding in place

I was too scared to do it lol. I stuck my fingers in between the assembly and the headboard and carefully pulled it out and stuck it back in place. My fingers were all scratched and bloody after it, but I was happy to have everything back in order.
