Missing Data in Bluetooth Audio

Missing Data in Bluetooth Audio
This is my first post here. I have an '07 black cherry tC and a '12 metallic gray tC. Love them both... really reliable and fun little daily drivers!
I love the bluetooth that is now in the standard head unit for the '12... but I have a few questions about it.
1. It does not display my album art from my iPhone... even though I have selected that option in the head unit.
2. The actual song information now seems to be missing most of the time.
3. The instruction book leads me to believe that when using Pandora... I should be able to thumbs up/down songs from the head unit. I have not found that to be the case.
Does anyone know if these issues are fixable and how to do so?

I don't think the standard HU has the capability to pull the meta-data from BTA yet. The only HU's I've seen that can do that are on luxury cars, it's just not common yet. However, on the upgraded Pioneer HU, it does do that. The time or two that I did use BTA, the screen just says Bluetooth Audio or something to that extent. I don't have a smart phone (only an iPod touch) so I'm not sure on the Pandora thing. If you do figure out how to get the meta-data to show up, let us know!
PS- How is the screen on the standard HU going to show you the album art???

I can change the songs just fine. The instruction manual just reads like you should be able to apply a thumbs up or a thumbs down to the songs playing.

OK... so I just took a USB cable out for experimentation. I get full data including album art with USB. I also get the ability to thumbs up and down in Pandora and the album art shows there as well. Spotify users will be glad to know that Spotify works as well over both USB and BTA... but the sound quality is NOTICABLY decreased over BTA on Spotify. I did not notice a big sound quality difference between BTA and USB with the iPod and Pandora. That's not to say there isn't one... but if there is, it's nowhere near as noticable.

I think we may be using different lingo. I can use the steering wheel controls to change it... but with BTA I don't get an option to apply a thumbs up or thumbs down to each of the songs in the Pandora app (say I like them or don't.)

Ah, I got ya. Sorry for the confusion. I don't have that option either.

I know this is an ancient thread, but I found the answer for any future people. I was using the default Samsung music player when most of the data never showed up, I switched to another player and it all worked fine
