Gotta hook the blue wire/remote power wire from the head unit to the blue wire/power antenna wire on the harness.

How many blue wires are there? Just make sure there's a complete, solid connection from the innards of the car, through the harness, all the way to the head unit's 12v trigger wire. Spliced or otherwise, however you did it, just make sure it's all connected one way or another. 12v triggers in automotive applications are usually blue at all stages, sometimes blue with a different color stripe. If you have, anywhere, a loose, mostly blue wire hanging around, that *might* be your problem. Go check it out and let us know.

Did you use a wiring harness? You should have the vehicle harness, the headunits harness, then an additional aftermarket adapter harness. It sounds to me like you hard wired the headunit harness directly to the vehicle harness. If that is what you did, you need to connect the blue remote wire on the headunit harness to the white wire on the vehicle 10 pin harness. That's the vehicle side white 10 pin harness, white wire in pin 9 location.
