I'm looking into hardwiring my radar detector, and I need a switched +12V (acc or on, doesn't matter) line up near the rearview. Do any of you know (or can check) if the electrical harness for your auto-dimming mirror has a plug up in that area? I'm trying to see if there's a wiring harness pre-installed in every chassis that I could tap into for switched +12v.

From what i remember, you'll have to tap in to it as there is no plug. Tapped into dome light wires. Did it a long time ago so don't recall exactly. Hope that helps somewhat.

 

I don't have the auto dimming but tapped into my map lights. Do you still need help I can post pics.
