Reference 400CF Replacement Speakers Plus Amp And Sub
#4
I too have the system in my 2012. The price is a little high but it is a pretty good plug-n-play upgrade. I found that with the stock headunit you don't get the best output (obvious, I know lol), you need an aftermarket HU. I have the pioneer avh-8400.
The system isn't one that will be heard from blocks away, but is great for regular everyday listening that far exceeds the stock system. Sound proofing the car would make it even better...just like any system.

haha throwback tuesday?
with that said. if ur looking for a bass killer, glass breaker, grandmama hater, disturbing the peace system...no this isn't the kit for you. but if you want that perfectly clear sounds then this is the kit for you. I will confess that it doesn't hit that hard in general, but that is mainly the limitations of the stock HU. I actually had an aftermarket HU first (Pioneer AVH-4300DVD) and it sounded great with the stock speakers/amp...but after we tested the HU with the system (my HU in their demo car) WOW...there was a major difference. Difference between Aftermarket HU + Stock and Stock HU + oem+ system. My combo, was clear and hit pretty hard. Sometimes when you have a hard hitting system your windows/mirrors/plastic door panels rattle like no one's business (my first car was like that and it sounded like the bolts were loosening themselves), but with my setup...i can enjoy all the bass i want (or dont want..just gotta adjust the EQ) while still feel comfy and not worrying about unwanted noise/vibrations. The alternative to get something this good is to have an expensive banging system AND Dynamat your car, but that's way more work than a simple HU swap and the plug-n-play oem+ system
PM me if you want me to put u directly in touch with one of the OEM+ reps

Yes everything should work with your 14, but the question is really how much you want to spend and what kind if time you want to put into building the sound you want. You can buy the ''plug and play'' style like this that yes will sound better then stock slightly or you could put in what you want and have the fun of building your own. I guarantee that my set up hits harder and is much clearer then this package deal but then I spent more money and research on building mine the way I wanted. I get nothing but amazement and flat out jaw drops whenever anyone hears it. But in the end it all comes down to what your time is worth to you and how loud or clear you want. Kid justin is sponsored by the company so im sure his opinions on the system are tilted a little more to pushing you towards it. For a beginner its probably the way to go if you down want to mess with all the hassle of building your own....

If you bought it @900 when they had sale I'd say totally worth it. I could not pay full price however, I do want a 2nd sub for other side which I've talked to them and considering it

I was in the talks with Daniel about the 2nd sub but he has not mentioned anything about. I actually paid full price plus 200 for color matched.
