Default seatbelt alarm

Is there anyway of shutting the seat belt beep alarm off when you are driving with out a belt on? now before you go and reply put your seat belt on or any other safety tips let me explain I live in a condo and we have underground parking, there are a lot of times where I need to remove my belt so that I can reverse the car and I usually just take it off when I enter the parking garage and it drives me up the wall. I know from my FJ cruiser that there is a sequence you can perform to turn the audible sound off but the light still comes on, any hints? tips? did a search and found nothing for the TC2

Easy. Flip the seatbealt behind you and put it back in so the car thinks you still have it on.

I remember seeing that in the owners manual. It has to do with switching the car on and off 3 times, opening and closing the door 4 times, switching the car again twice, rubbing your head and patting your belly while singing I'm a Little Teapot. I don't remember the exact instruction, but I'm positive I saw it in there.

Unplug the harness at the bottom of the seat.

in order to completely shut it off and not have to worry about it again, the next time it is in the dealership ask them to turn it off in Techstream under customization

do not unplug it from the bottom of seat thats the only two cents i have on this matter
the plugs under the seat (there are two) 1 is for the beeper and part of the airbag censer the other is just for the airbag censer so unplugging it could potentially put your passenger and or yourself in trouble
