Steering Wheel
Anyone had a chance to remove the silver plastic pieces on the steering wheel that have the cut-outs for audio controls? I was thinking of painting the silver center piece to the steering wheel, but not to sure how to get it off.
i think i know. havent tried it yet though.
1. disconnect battery
2. disconnect bolts on back of steering wheel
3. disconnect air bag sensor
and i think you will be able to get to those pieces.

so i took apart the steering column and it didnt do anything. i know the back of the sterring wheel just pops out but you only have maybe a couple inches if you stretch it out to play with. only way i see this going.. is just pulling from the front.
if you havent figured it out yet check out my how to https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=207350
Please not i do take all responsibility for all smart assedness in this post but dumb question especially in multiple threads deserves a good dumb answer
1. place left hand on steering wheel in area as shown below

2. for volume down press the button closest to left hand and floor as shown below

3. for volume up press the button closest to left hand and towards the top of the center piece of the steering wheel as shown below

4. for previous song press the button furthest from left hand and floor as shown below

5. for next song press the button closest to left hand and towards the top of the center piece of the steering wheel as shown below

6. for menu press the button farthest from left hand this will be a single small round button (if you have feeling in left hand)

and just for a quick practice try and memorize the location of these buttons
u need to mention the super cool and super smart futuristic design feature known as the "dip and bump" that help u know which one is up and which one is down
.....also, either u are wearing short shorts....or u sit bottomless in your tC2
