Stock Pioneer audio system- can't change ssp vehicle type
Hello, I'm sorry if this has been asked before (I ran a search for "ssp" but haven't found anything relevant to the 2012/2013 pioneer head unit).
I just got my 2013 scion tc2.
I have the stock Pioneer stereo with the bongiovi dps. However, the sound is really not impressive. I played around with the audio settings, but it always sounds either too treble-ly or bassy. I noticed that scion owners said you can change the ssp to different vehicle types and wanted to try the xa/Xb. Instructions say to "hold down the ssp button for 5 seconds". I assume that would be the multiknob? When I scroll to ssp and hold it down, I am taken to the natural/hear/feel options and nothing happens- other than switching between those three option.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Btw. I the head unit is the pioneer pt546-00120
Thanks in advance!
