I cant imagine something like that is going to be cheap. That would have to have a custom built box under there to old all of that stuff in place. Plus that is gonna make your trunk completely useless. But it does look really clean.

cut i piece of plexiglass to fit it and whenever i need my trunk (which is rarely) put the plexiglass on top and done deal. makes it alot more usefull than the enormous box! lol

yea im scared of it costing a fortune.. so im trying to get a ballpark estimate.

I seriously doubt that something like that can be done cheaply. I have a sub and amp rack that I built into a false floor. It was very challenging and took alot of time to fabricate. I did manage to retain my spare, though.

If you're willing to lose your spare, it could be easier. JL Audio is coming out with a stealthbox for the 2011 tc, and I think that will be the easiest solution.

Depends if you can work wityh your hands or not. With some time and effort you cna BUILD a box like that for probably around 100 bucks...a little more if you use nice carpeting.

All you need is some MDF, a nice table saw and a reciprocating saw mounted on some sort of stand to cut out the hole for the sub. Would be easier to make one for some L5/L7s Squares are easier than circles...

^ Very true statement on squares vs. circles.

jtk2, a hidden sub really isn't too hard. And I'm not sure on this, but I think you could actually put the OEM trunk piece back in over it if you do everything right. I also had an audio shop here quote me $500 to do a custom fiberglass enclosure that would put a sub in each of the cubbies.

Thanks for that. Now I have some sort of idea lol. But mines more complicated. Trying to get 2 subs and an amp. One day when I'm off I may give it a shot to see how it goes. Either that or just hold off and do the other million things I still have yet to do lol.
