The first thing I want to do with my tC is exchange the plastic ugly boot with a leather one like you see in MINI's and all (I miss the look of it) so my question is, has anyone done this on an A/T and do you have pictures/stories?

there are a bunch of people that have replaced the handbrake boot just search around and i can think of at least one who put photos of a leather boot on an AT shifter...

Right on, I found redline just minutes before putting up my post and tried the search but it came up with nothing. I'll try refining my terms with it.

Either way, I'm going to post a DIY if it works out well.

Redline Goods makes great products and work fast. Might even look for a couple other things for the tC2 shortly. ;)

I was thinking of going with Black perforated leather boot with the quad stitch in dark blue to match the car's paint and silver to match the seating trim. I'm hoping it comes out as clean and sexy as I think it will
