Hey Guys I'm thinking about doing purple suede side panels on my doors... I'm just waiting on my Clazzio Seats to come in so I can color match... however I really would like to see a pic of the side panels if anybody has them or maybe even a DIY!! =]

 

I'm actually getting mine done in red soon. I'l post up once they are done.

 

oops just realized that your a TC2....nevertheless a side panel is a side panel lol.

 

Reminder, just be aware that most materials are not UV protected + will fade over time if hit by the sun.
I experimented + used Rit clothes dye to touch up lighter spots my black faux suede panels.

hahaha yea door panels a door panel! but still post up pix I love seeing mods on tcs!! red would look sick!!

 

I know... question tho... if you have 5% tint do you think it'll still get damaged? because that was my concern with the suede when I went to the upholstery shop looking for my material

For non UV protected materials. The 5% tint may delay the UV damage, Not sure of the 100% UV protection with the 5% of tint on the window. You would need to research that window tint brand.
