Well that sucks won't get mine until later today. Any noticeable difference in turn in and stiffness or responsiveness in handling? I'm going to wait to install mine I'm going to get it powder coated a different color first.

 

i noticed some different reponsiveness in handling the most. especially when you make sharp turn, most likely making a right turn while still running.

to add more clearance, i decided to change the screw that the Descendant CAI bolts to the car (where the original snorkel is bolted)....i used leftover insulation currently. but i've also tried something VERY similar to what heydan to his (bolt + washers) CAI after not liking the bolt that came with the intake.

as for the squeaking...it will go away. just make sure that after driving it around (~around 100 miles, more or less) retighten the bolts of the bar to the brace. after some driving and letting the car get used to it. the squeak will go away...for me it only lasted like 2 days max. (cuz it took me 2 days to realize that maybe i should try to tighten the bolts) never happened again.

 

^yeah i remember what you did to your intake to give more clearance... so i might try doin that tomorrow...

If they sent it thru ups like mine you can call your local ups hub and request a pick-up in person. That's what I did when the lazy ___ ups driver that didn't want to deliver my descendant exhaust.

 

The hub is easy almost 2 hours from me, and I work open to close shifts. I can't win, lol

 

i just got an email saying it was delivered and nobodys home

 

@kj I must say I am very very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of this strut bar CUSCO did a great job better than my expectations. It has me debating on wether I should install it this weekend or powder coat it prior to install. Thanks CUSCO!
