2012/2013 tC questions.
From reading the car magazines I'm thinking that their is no spec V on the horizon for the newest generation Sentra. My local car dealers tend to offer 99% of their vehicles with automatics and try to convince you that you really would prefer an automatic. In 2003 when I was shopping I really wanted a Civic EX, the local Honda salesman told me that only an idiot would want a manuel transmission and suggested I shop elsewhere. I went across the street, discovered the spec V and bought it on the spot. The Sentra was way low on my list because I really didn't like the body style and interior as much as other cars. The 175 hp motor, six speed manuel, Rockford Fosgate stereo, firm handling, rear discs, and the fact that the alloy wheels and car mats were included along with the sunshine yellow paint sold me. I really didn't think the quality of Nissan was up to Honda or Toyota but ten years and a 170,000 fun filled miles changed my mind. The recent money spent was to replace a cracked exhaust header (my wife encountered a big brown dog) and a fuel pump. It's been great to have a small economical car that will safely let me pass with ease around semis and motorhomes. It was rated at 28 mpg highway but with good weather and road conditions I tend to get 30-32mpg. Thanks again for taking time to answer my questions which I have more of. I really think the tC will be a worthy successor to my spec V.
ok...
Style = tc>accord
Features/interior quality/better mpg great design/noise reduction/more features = tc<accord
It's worth a drive if you Havnt. Killer price and Honda stepped game up, if you want a basic car that just works our scions are nice. I enjoy mine, but my friend has the Honda.. Not the fanciest on outside but it's sooo awesome to drive comfort wise. Not a bad car

Our tc out the door is 20-22k Honda is 23k. I personally just wanted to mention it because it really is a nice car. Cvt autos had problems 20 years ago but not nowadays though I'd prefer manual. 23k is for auto, manual would be 22k for the Honda.
