Any ideas on carrying a full size fl
We all know that the scissor jack included is not only inadequate & dangerous to use but the owners manual also advises against using it for lifting up our car.
I know they are some creative members on here who are talented when it comes to problem solving and creating things for their cars. My question is has anyone created or thought up a solution for the spare on the 2011 through 2013 tC's? I am trying to keep the full size spare and instead of having the scissor jack, I want a regular pump action floor jack. I would like to retain the integrity of the trunk floor above the spare if possible as well as to keep the weight gain to a minimum. I rather not have to transport this equipment in a duffle bag behind the drivers seat. Any help would be greatly appreciated whether it is a sketch or photos or even a verbal walk through of how I can accomplish this. Thanks in advance.
If your curious about the why's, I would enjoy the peace of mind knowing that if I ever had to change a flat that I have the equipment to safely and quickly accomplish this without having to see the gear everyday. Not to mention I'd like to participate in amateur day auto x once I finish building my car.
This is the floor jack I plan on purchasing:

if u have to change a flat in an emergency...the scissor jack is fine.
basically you shouldn't rely on a scissor jack to do work that requires lifting the car (suspension work, tire rotation, oil change, etc). keep the floor jack at home and do work there, the scissor jack in case of emergency is fine. plus i doubt there would be a floor jack that would be lighter and/or fit like the scissor jack

That would've been bad if you had made it up the ramp then torn it off going back down it xD
lol, you guys are nuts, i'm lowered and still fit a jack (after removing the top plate) under my car.. i'm slammed on racelands, and they sure do suck, but do the job... the racelands won't go lower..
