Anyone Using the MagnaFlow high Flow headers ??
Recently added a 93 tune to my Tc was looking to squeeze a bit more HP out of the tune while still passing emmisons so Weapon R headers are out of the equation. Saw MagnaFlow made a header with a cat (will link below) , has anyone used this header ? and if so how does it perform compared to OEM and how difficult was the installation?

My tC1 friend is absolutely convinced this will increase his power.. but I can't see it helping much being still fully emissions compliant. I'd just wait for a used Dezod green to come up for sale.
Weapon R and CNT both sound like garbage, don't get either of them or you'll be bleeding from the ears.

I've been talking around with people who have 2AR swapped their MR2s for autocross, champcar, LeMons etc., and they all insist that the stock header is not the main source of restriction on this engine's exhaust system. The restriction comes from the 2.0'' inner diameter of the exhaust.
If you want significant gains, take it to an exhaust shop and ask them to neck the header flange up to 2.5'', and make you a custom 2.5'' pipe all the way back. No secondary cat, 1 resonator, and a high flow muffler at the back will sound awesome and will probably cost a lot less than those headers!
