the dealership I work at is dead, and I am very bored so here is a random picture of my tC I took the other day after I washed it.

Currently on my way to Pennsylvania for the weekend and stopped to get gas. Last night I finally got around to swapping my tires back onto the stock wheels for the winter. Never noticed how low she looks with her in winter mode

My guess is the boot just ripped or something and then all the grease leaked out as I was driving. I was about 350 miles away when i noticed the car started vibrating. I kind of knew it was the axle but couldnt really call a tow truck so I just drove it home anyways and it got worse and worse. Once I reached my house it was grinding and popping everywhere Lol.
I won't know what exactly happened until I get it on a lift tomorrow.
Crazy thing is my car only has 12,000 miles on it. I mean, I know I'm basically slammed to the ground and I knew the axles would give at some point but I didn't expect it to happen this early.

Unfortunately I got tied up here at work so I couldn't take a look at it directly. I talked to my buddy who worked on it and he said the boot was a clean cut, almost as if someone held a knife to it as it rotated and all the grease leaked out as I drove home; I expected that.
Idk how exactly it happened, maybe a rock or something got caught up in there and sliced it open. It could be anything really. Definitely something I am going to have to keep an eye out for in the future haha
