Major Update, review & a TC2 first
Hey there everyone,
Just wanted to start a build thread as my first real full time job will allow me the extra funds to majorly modifying my car. Some of the regulars may have seen my comment on occasion and i spend quite a lot of time on this site.
Any ways some background info, im currently living in London Ontario, Canada after moving with my family from Milon Keynes, UK. My Parents had both retired from proffesional sports and the exchange rate allowed a standard of living that was possible in the UK at the time. I completed high school and my college in Canada and after going through a boosted civic 91 (with a B16) that had too much power for the small car and then a 2003 330ci with an s54 engine and 6sp tansmission swap i decided to get something more practical and got the 2011 TC. I love it, it is my first new car and i have had not had any major issues with it thus far.

This was my 330ci with the sport front bumper. i later got the Mtech bumper but this is a bmw forum...

This is the day that i picked her up. September 9th 2011.

As soon as the great Canadian winter the modding began as i bought used H tech Tein and bought the MSR 095 18x8 with a +42 offset.

I'm also active on a bunch of other Scion Forums and soon the real modding will begin. the reason that i got such high offset wheels is when the coilovers come in i can drop it to the floor!!!! im also really looking into getting a new intake i had the takeda and loved it but couldnt deal with the CEL. also looking at the NST pulley, Descendent exhaust and dezod header.
So thats the list ill be adding soon as some parts have already been ordered.

Thanks man, I was looking all over for something of this style and found them at my local shop. Had problems tho... The first set I got had a crack in the barrel of the rim and would not keep air in the tire! So they sent me a new one and a little sorry present!

Hi Guys, havent posted in a while on my own build since i started my new job i havent had tons of time. I did however go to the montreal grand prix as a full guest of red bull! so full pit lane access and the real vip treatment. In addition to the F1 race we got to see the touring car race! there was a Tc taking part kinda hard to see if he was first, or waaaay behind lol. Either way had a great weekend and before i post the new mods i have made to the car i wanted to post the motorsportors

Hi again guys,
Just to update. I took out my takeda intake during the winter and sold it. ended up buying an Injen CAI. I series believe that this mod will only make a minor difference they are crazy. there is no 4500 rpm hesitation, the throttle response is far better and the car attacks the red line much faster. All of this in 30 degree plus weather!
I am just about to add my bucket seats that match the interior paint that i have started.

Not finished yet will do the steering wheel tomorrow and then throw the seats in next weekend. Wheel spacers will go on the back to give the car a more agressive stance....i know it wont make any difference on a fwd car but itll look mean. Soon Carbon Hood, and exhaust next week.

Hi guys,
i just finished some more work on the car. i think that i have done the first bucket seat mod to a road TC2.

I bought some planted bracket seats from 425 motorsports. I dealt with Dan, who turned out to be the CEO of the company. He was fantastic and he was so helpful all the way along the purchase process. He even sent a hand written card thanking me for the business and that he wanted to contact with any concerns or questions. I will buy from him in a heartbeat and if anyone is looking to buy brackets for the TC2 he has them, they are great quality and he was more than helpful. The brackets were a perfect fit for the original seat and required no modification!!!

Finished the interior painting

Pulling out the stock seat. stock seats weighs almost 4 times as much as the momo's that installed.

Unhook the cables under the seat and take of the cables from the stock seat and reinstall to ensure that there are no warning lights.

Ignore the mess, but here is the shot from the back so that you can see the height difference. My side is not on a slider and is bolted directly to the bracket.

Shot from the front. I have only got the one side installed so far....

Getting to the next seat on the weekend.
