Sigh....

A cat back won't void your warranty.

As long as your not changing headers you can do the rest of your exhaust.

a cat-back does not void your warranty, like already mentioned, headers will, i installed a weapon-r, switch their filter with a K&N cone and it is so much better, and have a TSUDO cat-back and Toyota has not said a word to me other then it sounds as i quote "sick", but anyway no you're good getting a cat-back exhaust

Someone please explain how a header voids your warranty.

In fact, someone please explain how ANY bolt-on voids your warranty.

I could see voiding warranty on the o2 sensor. Otherwise, theres nothing behind it other than the secondary cat right?

Only thing I could see a dealer trying to pull is that by changing a header to a catless one for example, you'd have to put a O2 eliminator in place and because of that they could possibly somehow claim that it caused the ECU to read improper parameters causing some sort of damage. However, that is complete BS.

My point exactly, gentlemen.

We have to stop looking at this in such a broad sense of "omg, I don't have a warranty anymore!". If your aftermarket part directly causes a defect (i.e. a catless header fouling up a o2 sensor) then hey, you earned it. Otherwise, you still have a warranty.

I only have powertrain warranty left, and I am running a catback. Worst case scenerio, put your stock exhaust back on.
