Rotora, StopTech, and Wilwood all make them. They sell them with their big brake kits, but I haven't seen them sell them individually, leading me to believe they are the same. I even tried looking up oem part numbers, but that was even impossible. I'd call one of these three companies. They'll know.

yeah i want them individually. Dont feel like spending big money on BBK, but a couple hundred dollars on just the steel hose is worth it.

Nope not at all. I'm a huge fan of Agency sh.t. But if you look up tC2 SS brake lines on that website, you will come up with nada. So like I said, still useless.

Classic Tube sells steel and stainless steel brake lines.
They can make custom brake lines but you will have to make some mock-ups with clothes hanger wire and send those as templates to them and in return they will send you brake lines that match what you send to them.

I personally never dealt with them but have heard of them being used on custom cars.

That's just what I would do, the OP can use any material he wants. any sort of wire works.

You wouldn't have to send in templates if they had our tC in their database, but they mostly only have brake line systems from all old cars and newer domestic cars (USA). They can make lines for any car though.

Just an idea from my end. It is going to be just as expensive with these guys as with other suppliers. you're probably looking at $300+ for the full system.

I remember reading about it, let's see if i can find the article.
EDIT: here it is, the part about the brake lines: http://www.mustangandfords.com/proje.../calipers.html

I too have been looking for SS braided brake lines and haven't found any, and I don't want to spend the 2k + for a BBK. There has to be some options.

Default Agency Power SS lines

So these are the facts based on the conversation I had with Agency Power today. Yes they made SS lines for our tC2 but only one wet was made for ONE customer. They decided to not mass produce it. I inquired about if the SS brake lines are interchangeable between the tC1 and the tC2. The guy told me absolutely not. This is very disappointing because I only spent $135 shipped for all brake and clutch ss lines for my 2009 tC1. I hope that puts all questions to rest. Although disappointed I'm glad I know the answer now.

This is the BS that brings the scion brand down, it was designed as a tuner car but if there is no after market support Toyota might as well hang it up. I don't understand why they wouldn't mass produce something so cheap as people are looking for them. Of course when the first 11' model came out no one was looking foruch since it was still new but now that people are paying them off and upgrading parts Agency Power should be looking at bringing them the SS lines back.

The only known as brake lines for our car is the Flow-Tech hoses for a reasonable price. I actually just had a clutch line made for about $50.
