I guess for our car it’s really expensive.

 

What happened to your windshield? A rock? A hater? A crazy ex girlfriend? Lol

Where'd you get that done at!?! Ive tried everywhere a couple months ago and nobody had anything. So I called up Toyota and they said 800$ just for the windshield.

 

ive been through 3 windshields in the past year...hence when i refuse to take windshield replacement off my insurance.

 

I'm on my second windshield and already have a few chips.

High cost appears to be because everyone gets the glass thru Toyota. I had insurance cover the replacement. Insurance went thru Safelite, who ordered the glass thru the local Toyota dealer, who had to special order it. Too many hands to get a decent price.

 

omg, picked up a rock the other day and now i have to replace my windshield. someone wanted 880.00, whats going on here! aren't there 3rd parties that make windshields for these?

 

the hatch glass was 900 for me. someone busted out my rear window 2 months after i got it. then was like another thousand in body work.
