What does Garage is empty, Add now mean?

I'm not sure if this is where i should post this, so if it's in the wrong place i'm sorry. So, as any one who tries to heel toe shift in a second gen tC knows, it's not easy at all. While searching for a solution to the problem all i've found is people saying the car isn't meant for it so don't even try. My question is, does any one know about setups to extend the gas pedal to make it even with the brake pedal? I took a quick look at my how the gas pedal is mounted, and it seems like it would be a relatively simple thing to do. Just unbolt the pedal assembly from the fire wall, cut a piece of metal a couple inches tall and drill dome holes, find longer bolts with the same threads and bolt it all back up. Does any one know of some one doing something like this?
