Hardwire Dashcam tutorial?
Hi all,
I have a 2013 tC and was looking to hardwire my dashcam. I apologize if this has been asked before, but is there a tutorial for this? I wouldn't mind having it always be connected as long as it doesn't drain the battery fully. Ideally I'd be looking for something that is easily removable, since I'm leasing the car for now ;)
Thanks for the help!

1) Locate an existing circuit that carries 12 volts. (If I were doing a dashcam I would want it switched with the ignition so it isn't always on. The 12 volt outlet's circuit would be a good choice)
2) Use an add-a-circuit fuse holder to the desired circuit. (I would fuse a camera circuit with a 5 amp fuse.)
3) Mount camera and run wires, make connections.
