HID Fog Lights
When I had my OEM fogs put in, I took my HIDs and test the fittment in the housings for the fogs. I just thought the bulb was to long and it just felt hot by the time they got to temp and the blue was out of the light output. I just felt safer putting in the H11s.
Of course, this is just me and my car, I don't think I've seen anyone talk about melting anything with HIDs in their oem fogs... YMMV!

^you don't need a relay harness for your low beams. Only 1 for the fogs. I got mine when I bought my hid's from hidextra.
my low beam hidextra's have been working well for 2 yrs now, so no problems here. Once in a while 1 won't turn on the first try, but just turning it off and back on will fix it and I haven't had an issue for a while now.
6k HID's with normal ballasts in my low beams
6k HID's with slim ballasts + relay harness on my fogs
