My mom is just being her usual self and freaking out about it. She's worried they may not be safe etc.
That and I want to install them with some Scikotics friends but she thinks the people that I have to pay $200 are the only people that know what they're doing. :\
Either way they'll be on by the end of the month.

Just do what I do and wait till she goes to work. Lol my mom use to be the same way. When I opened up my headlights to paint them and install the halos I got about half way through the painting when she came home. I was like they're open now so it's too late.

^^ lol her face...priceless =P my parents just got to the point where they don't care anymore, they just want me to keep it in the garage so no one steals it or does anything to it =)
well if you need help bro my friend works at the Ford dealership. He does all my work there and you can tell your mom your taking it to a professional and get them installed there lol. just let me know if you need help

But this is different since I'd have to drive 40 miles South to my freind's house to install it since everyone lives down there and they have all the tools. It's kind of an all-day affair and won't really work when she's out. :\
k0ntr0lled, I would do that but I've got places that can do it in town, I'd just rather not have to go to them and spend any more money than I have to. My buds can do it for free as long as there's food around lol. Besides, they've done it before so they're "professionals" in my book. Thanks anyway.

o no worries bro I was just trying to help and I never said we were gona charge you but food does sound good =P lol hope you can do it though...what are you going to tell them then? lol

Thanks, I am just going to tell them I don't want to spend any more money lol. And this could be a learning experience for me since I do want to work with cars for a living.
But my dad is all for it, so really my mom is going to have to let me do it eventually.

Not much in terms of new items, but I did get the A-OK to get the springs installed. I just need to set up a new time to put them on. It won't be for a while because I will be out of town for 2 weeks.
In other news, Woodstock is my new mascot!

Lol yeah, they just said if anything goes wrong it's on me.
Yeah it's great, but that's really the only pic I have of it, but you should be able to see it from the pic in the OP.

I procrastinated but it's finally done.
*Kid Rock Voice* I'M A LOW LIFE
I also changed my HID bulbs as well, no more blue!
Next I want to treat myself for my birthday and get a new head unit. And no, I won't even attempt to install this one myself lol.

you pretty much connect the same color wires together and thats its. The whole dash comes apart in like 2 mins with three pieces that pull off without tools. Stereo is like the first mod you learn how to do when your 16!

Quick update, the springs are here, but I can't install them just yet. In short, parents.
But anyway I got around to installing my flasher relay, which is a serious pain being 6'2", I still somehow managed to get it in there. I also took out my snorkel on the air intake, and I am super glad I did. It had a noticeable improvement in throttle response and it sounds a little better.
Hopefully next time I update this I will be lower! (And maybe someone besides me will see this!)

what is this snorkel on the air intake you're talking about? what does it do?

Its so easy! just buy the wiring harness and mounting kit from ebay for like 10 bucks total and a wire crimper and some butt connectors (actual name, not joking)
