I picked up some led tail lights from ddm tuning today, they gave me red leds but I asked to go white. They work as tail lights but pop the 10 amp fuse for the brake lights. Is it possible to run them as tail and brake lights by adding a bigger fuse?

 

You didn't get the CK style LEDs.
Not many sites sell them but our brake lights need 7443 CK lights.

You can find CK style LEDS on sites like v-LEDs.com and Autolumination.com.

All the other bulbs are just standard bulbs with whatever number is said (7440, 168, etc...)

No, what dm said is the only way. You need new bulbs that are CK. Load resistors will not do anything.

 

Of course they said that! They want you to spend more money.... What everyone else said is 100000% true. Our brake light bulbs must be CK, and the only 2 places I know of that sell them have been listed. Return the DDM and pick up the right bulbs from Autolumination.

 

You can also modify the wires on the bottom of the 7443 LED tower by following Steve's thread about popping fuses... I did it today...
