@Shannon...what are u expecting? a diamond plated box? LOL the box is a lot nicer than other things i've bought. plus that black thing is the tool kit/instruction manual. i thought that was super neat

@Boss...they don't have it listed yet. thought my contacts, i found a way to talk to the ppl at KW and they gave me a part number. from there on i could have ordered from them....BUT i had other contacts of companies that are distributors...so i hit them up with the part number of KW and got them ordered....it was a very long a intricate process....i think i first started this entire process late last year. i dont think KSport was even near testing the product let alone releasing. at the time only STD and Tien weres out. Tanabe wasn't released yet either, only prototype. so yea i've had this researched for a while now

....I dunno, I knew nobody would understand. No, the packaging is fine, it's the like cartoony look of the outer box. I thought it was interesting, if you ever go to foreign countries its like all their packaging has this generic cartoon feel to it. It just struck me as funny that even when you buy a $2,000ish item they still give it that look. Nevermind, cause now I'm just thinking out loud. But I will say that's gonna be a mint setup.

 

Been watching this build for a while and I gotta say, kind of expected a bigger/better announcement then just coils. Especially since you had major announcement coming soon for the longest time. You left me thirsty for more, that's all. Either way, congrats on the coils.

The RS7 front grille is $140, and you'll need a RS7 VIN to buy it. Theres much better uses for $140 than a piece of plastic. You won't be able to find it online because its a special order part.

I agree with you, I've never paid retail for anything on my car and we all have contacts and hookups, and I'm willing to share them so they can gain more business. But I guess there's a also a sense of selfishness within the car community. You don't want anyone to have what you do, because then you become unoriginal. So, I understand both sides.

 

^^not about selfishness. i share when i can, but there are points when i have to keep to myself to protect my contact. its not like a company giving a discount code to attract interest in their company....

its more like close friends/family helping each other out and most often a 1 time offer/shouldnt be shared

Whats the status of seeing those KW V2's on your ride? Real eager to hear how they are. FastScions.com has em for $1400, which isn't bad for a top quality suspension- finally! i'm waiting on the Greddy Type-S, but they emailed me back saying they're still in production and no ETA as of now.
