Episode 3 - Long Beach Battles - Daijiro Yoshihara Formula Drift 2012

The 3rd episode of Behind the Smoke has just been released! In this episode Dai does battle against the some of the best in the sport: Matt Field, Fredrick Aasbo, Ken Gushi and Daigo Saito and Justin Pawlak. hey kidjustin, whats your opinion on fog lights? is that something your planning or getting or are the HIDs plenty enough?

 

scion fog lights are good, if you want HID then just make sure you have a relay on them for safety

i'm not planning on any at the momement...i'm happy with the LED DRLs so not sure if i'll do something later on. but a company did approach me about possibly guinea pigging their new fog lights. so yea there's that

 

Just wanted to share two small updates...

here is how it sits now after some settling and some adjustments. the rear should settle a little bit more after the tweaks.

how did the frs feel?

 

dude justin, that was some pretty nice event that was hosted there! although i didnt see you yesterday, i got a chance to see your car and your new rims! looks REALLY nice man! I was trying to see if you were around so i can hear your intake but its all good.(saw your car reached 21.5k miles tho, lOl). also i didnt know if those decals u had on your car windows were to give away, i was so tempted to take one but i didnt haha.
OH ALSO, when i parked my car at the parking lot, i saw a FR-S out there that was parked... i know its not out yet but why was that there? did a customer somehow already have access to it? it was a longo toyota plate on it. took some pictures too. i was just parked a few cars away from it. but im glad i get to see the fr-s tho, not to mention the LFA that was there. haha. KIT!

 

I'm thinking wth is monarch, so i googled it and i could get is china. could you enlighten us on the brand, and your choosing.

What tires are you running on the 20's? Did you keep the coilover settings the same after the wheel swap?

 

Ninja Edit. I was about to say he needed a lift kit for the 29's, not coils.

 

The Scion ccX is a concept car unveiled by the automaker Scion at the Detroit Auto Show on January 7, 2003. The concept car is not likely to be released, as the car is not mentioned on Scion's website, though other concepts such as the t2B and Fuse are. The car is unusual in design, with the roof comprising two panoramic sunroofs that slide in opposite directions connected to form a single platform, not unlike the Scion tC's single panoramic sunroof.
