I was never a fan of front lips. They just look like you did nothing more than add a piece of plastic to your front bumper since that's really all it is.
For show, I'd rather invest in an entirely whole new front bumper like duraflex...

If you are going to go all out and spend alot of money on mods then at least you could make things flow a bit more naturally with a 1 piece bumper.

Oblivion, you have no idea the amount of money it takes to make that bumper work. I thought the exact same thing as you so I purchased the full kit. Since I already bought it I was forced to pay the crazy cost to get it painted and installed, but oh my goodness.

gleb_v thanks
i'm getting the entire lip (front, sides, rear), not just the front. its just only the front is done at the moment.
lip > body kit because i feel body kits are tacky. IMO, i love the car and its original design/body lines...installing body kits will take that away and replace it with someone else's design. instead i like lip kits (noticed i said kits) better because it keeps the original design/body lines and just adds to it
and i'm lowered on KW V2 coilovers

The only true way you'll really retain the original design without completely altering its appearance is simply by lowering the car. What you are doing instead is adding a front lip and soon rear panels as well as replacing the side panels. That is no different than if you were to buy a bodykit if it were all bundled in 1 package. The Five Axis bodykit is exactly that: Front, Rear, Side panels.
Either the 1 piece bumper or addon lip are both tacky. It depends on which is more tackier than the other. I'd say that a 1 piece bumper that retains the original look while also having the lip molded to the panel would look the least bit tacky of the bunch, but there isn't anything available like that yet and I doubt there will be in the future.

KJ I'm in the same boat as you. However I will be waiting until RS releases their entire lip kit. So I know how it looks. Currently I'm dead set on the Five Axis kit because it is the only lip kit I can get. However I'm not a big fan of the $1200 price tag. Hopefully RS's kit will be much cheaper.
